Reports for the Département du Doubs

Produced as a staff photographer for the Département du Doubs.

In 2025 and 2026, I produced these reports as a staff photographer for the Département du Doubs. The job: producing the images that feed the Département’s social media and website. Inaugurations of facilities, foundation stones, sporting events: each report follows the same principle. Be in position before the key moment, respect the protocol, deliver a selection ready to publish.

Institutional reports

Inauguration of the Blamont gymnasium. 98 retouched photos. Speeches, ribbon, tour of the facilities and the gymnasium’s first uses. See the report.

Foundation stone ceremony of the Children’s Village, in L’Isle-sur-le-Doubs. 41 retouched photos. A short outdoor ceremony, where the symbolic gesture cannot be repeated. See the report.

What these reports have in common

The same use: the social media and website of the Département du Doubs. Images must read on a phone, identify the place and the people, and go out quickly. At an inauguration, the protocol dictates where I stand. At a match, it is the photographers’ zones and the pace of the game. At the Tour, it is the crowd and the few seconds of the peloton passing.

Working with a communications team

This work at the Département taught me how a public communications team operates: elected officials’ calendars, image approval, distribution constraints, the need to react on the same day. A successful report depends as much on this coordination as on the shooting. Under the Florska brand, I put this know-how at the service of local authorities, clubs and event organisers.
